Mourning Dove

This is a photo we took yesterday in our yard. We thought at first that it was the Willow Ptarmigan sporting its summer plumage. When we downloaded our pics and checked it out, we realized it was a Mourning Dove. According to the information we read, they aren't even supposed to be in Newfoundland, but we know there's at least ONE! :-)

How cool! Great picture! YOu should report it here - http://www.nwf.org/wildlifewatch/quilt/quiltAdd.cfm . When you do check to see what report number your report has and tell me so I can check it out and tell others about it.
